About TConsult Outdoors

TConsult is owned and operated by Rob Taylor. Rob builds data-driven Websites with ASP.NET and helps companies implement sound business practices for starting and sustaining an effective & profitable Website.

TConsult has provided Internet Development & Consulting services since late 1997. At the present time, all new application development is done with ASP.NET and usually with Microsoft SQL Databases on the back-end.

TConsult (Taylor Consulting) was started while Rob was enrolled in the Geographic Information Systems program at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. The business actually began via a snafu in the registration department at the University. He was incorrectly put in to a Senior Level course dealing with integrating Geographic Information Systems and the World Wide Web in his Freshman year. The instructor let Rob stay in the class and after a few weeks of building Web pages he was hooked.

At first he did simple Web design (who we are, what we do Websites) for the University and people around the town of Moscow, Idaho where the University was located. He soon switched to data-driven development as his programming skills evolved at the University and Microsoft's Active Server Pages began to take off.

Since that time, Rob and TConsult have provided development and consulting services for many different types of business across the United States. In December of 2000, Rob moved the business back to New York where he is originally from. TConsult is located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, 30 miles South of Rochester.
